Step 1: Install and Activate Elementor Pro
- Ensure Elementor and Elementor Pro are Installed:
- Go to your WordPress dashboard.
- Navigate to Plugins > Installed Plugins.
- Check if both Elementor and Elementor Pro are installed and activated. If not, install them.
Step 2: Create a New Page

Navigate to Pages:
- In your WordPress dashboard, go to Pages > Add New.

Title Your Page:
- Enter a title for your new page in the title field.

Launch Elementor:
- Click the Edit with Elementor button to open the Elementor editor.
Step 3: Choose a Layout
- Select a Page Layout:
- In the Elementor editor, you can choose a layout for your page. You can start from scratch or use a template.
- To choose a layout, click the Settings gear icon at the bottom left corner of the Elementor panel, and set Page Layout to Elementor Full Width or Canvas (for a completely blank page).
Step 4: Add Sections and Columns

- Click the + icon to add a new section.
- Choose a structure for your section (e.g., one column, two columns, etc.).

Adjust Section Settings:
- Hover over the section and click the Edit Section icon (the six dots) to access the section settings.
- Customize the layout, style, and advanced settings as needed.
Step 5: Add Widgets

Drag and Drop Widgets:
- On the left panel, you’ll see a list of widgets (elements like headings, text editors, images, buttons, etc.).
- Drag and drop the widgets you want to use into your section or column.

Configure Widget Settings:
- Click on the widget you added to open its settings in the left panel.
- Customize the content, style, and advanced settings for each widget according to your needs.
Step 6: Use Templates (Optional)
- Insert Pre-built Templates:
- To speed up your design, you can use pre-built templates.
- Click the Folder icon (Add Template) in the Elementor panel.
- Browse through the Templates or Blocks library and insert any that suit your design.
Step 7: Customize Responsiveness
- Check Responsiveness:
- Click on the responsive mode icon (desktop, tablet, mobile) at the bottom left corner of the Elementor panel to preview how your page looks on different devices.
- Adjust the settings for each device as needed to ensure a good user experience.
Step 8: Publish Your Page

Save Your Work:
- Click the Update button at the bottom of the Elementor panel to save your changes.

Preview Your Page:
- Click the Preview button (eye icon) to see how your page will look when live.

Publish Your Page:
- After finalizing your design, go back to the WordPress editor and click the Publish button.

- Use Global Widgets: If you have elements you want to reuse, consider using global widgets for easy updates.
- Save Drafts: Regularly save your progress to avoid losing any work.
- Experiment: Don’t hesitate to try different layouts and styles. Elementor’s flexibility allows for a lot of experimentation.
